CHICOPEE – Patricia A. “Pat” (Kozacki) Micks, 75, a longtime resident of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, January 14, 2024. She passed into Eternal Life at the Chicopee Gardens for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Chicopee surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving son and his family. She was born in Holyoke on June 2, 1948, a beloved daughter of the late Joseph Kozacki, Jr. and Maryann (Perzan) Kozacki. She was raised and educated in Westfield and had lived in Chester, Otis, Huntington and Holyoke, MA before moving to Tennessee and returned to Chicopee in 1977. She furthered her education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from American International College in Springfield. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for the Merwin Tober Group in Longmeadow and Boca Raton, FL. She was previously employed in retail at the former Steiger’s Department Store in Holyoke. She loved parking cars at the Big E every year and was very fond of her many cats. Pat had a green thumb when it came to plants and was a very fashionable woman. She leaves her loving son, Donald Micks and his wife, Carol, of Feeding Hills; her four cherished grandchildren, Donald, Ashley, Amber and Jasmine Micks; her dear brother, William Kozacki of South Hadley; her dear sister, Karen Jasenkowski of Holyoke; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Preston Lee Micks who was Called Home on May 1, 2015; her former husband, Donald R. Micks who was Called Home on December 17, 2005; and her brother, John Kozacki. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 594 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will be private. There are no visiting hours. Her funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
