Jeanne M. (Roth) Doherty, 70, of Medway, passed peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2024, at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of John T. Doherty who passed in 1992 and the loving sister of Edwin Roth and his late wife Dorothy, the late Betty Roth, Kathryn Regan and her late husband John “Jack” Regan and the late Mary Elena Siegel and her late husband Alan Siegel.
Born in Boston on September 6, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Elizabeth (Blagdon) Roth.
Jeanne was a resident of Medway for most of her life. She grew up in the Mission Hill section of Boston and graduated from Mission High School.
Jeanne worked as the Hallmark Specialist at CVS Pharmacy in Medfield for many years.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Jeanne is survived by her son Christopher Doherty and his wife Jennifer of Bellingham, her daughter Tracy Joseph and her husband Justin of Wrentham, two grandchildren, Lily-Anne and Hannah Doherty, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Monday, January 22 at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 – 5 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
