Reginald Ferrer Serrano, 66, of Ventura, passed away at his home suddenly on Monday morning, January 15, 2024.
Mr. Serrano was born on December 11, 1957in Tarlac, Philippines and was a Ventura Resident for the past 20 years.
He was an administrative assistant for 10 years with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department.
He enjoyed hiking, working out and staying fit, going to the movies and good restaurants, investing in the stock market, and collecting sea glass.
Reginald is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Pauline Serrano; his daughter, Celine Rogers and her husband, Jimmie, of Washington; his daughter: Capt. Sarah Watson and her husband, Capt. Zack Watson, of Washington; his son: Sinjin Serrano, of Ventura; his sisters: Jennifer White, of Oxnard, and Josen Serrano, of Camarillo; and his grandchildren: William Joseph Watson and Avery Elizabeth Watson.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours Friday January 26, 2024 from 4 to 8pm in the BOYKO & REARDON TELEGRAPH ROAD MORTUARY & CREMATION, 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura, where a Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm in the Chapel of the Mortuary. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday January 27, 2024 in Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 3175 Telegraph Road, Ventura. Interment will immediately follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Howard Road, Camarillo.
