Valter M. Teves, 65, of Reynolds Road, Glocester, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He was the husband of Valentina (DoRego) Teves. They had been together for over 18 years.
Born in Portugal, he was a son of Jose and Virginia (Medeiros) Teves. He had lived in Glocester for the past 30 years.
Valter was the former owner of the Dunkin Donuts Franchise on Broad Street in Providence. He had recently retired.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children: Valter Teves, Jr. of California, Juliana Teves of Virginia, his stepchildren: Katelyn Sosa Diaz of Cranston, Marco Costa, Jr. and Nicholas Costa both of Chepachet, his five grandchildren and his siblings: Anibal Teves, Connie Moniz, Alice Geldmaker and Helen Costa all of East Providence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 am in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 21 Traverse St, Providence. Visitation will be held Monday morning in the church from 9-11am. Burial will be private.
