Albert L. Marley Jr. of Winthrop passed away on January 15, 2024. He was 66 years old. Albert was the beloved husband of Eileen M. (Buckley) Marley. Born in Winthrop, he was the cherished son of the late Elaine M. (Sacco) and Albert L. Marley Sr.
Prior to his retirement, Albert was employed as a firefighter for the Town of Winthrop. He also the business owner of ALM Tile Co. Albert was the Past Commodore of the Pleasant Park Yacht Club of Winthrop and member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks #1078.
Albert was the devoted father of Jennifer Marley of Coral Springs, FL, and Kevin Marley of Winthrop. He was the dear brother of Charlene A. Marley, Susan M. McLaughlin and her husband John, Brian L. Marley and his wife Stacie, Lois E. Marley and the late Kevin Marley all of Winthrop. Albert was the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will take place on Saturday, January 20, in St. John the Evangelist Church, (St. Michael’s Parish), 320 Winthrop St. Winthrop, MA, from 10:00-11:30AM, followed by a funeral Mass in the church beginning at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, Inc. 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA. 02215.
