TAUNTON… Charles “Chuck” W. Elias, II, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA with his daughter, April by his side.
Born in Boston on October 24, 1959 to the late Charles W. Elias, I and Lorraine M. (Critcher) Elias.
Chuck was a lifelong resident of Massachusetts, formerly of Brockton, and spent many years in Norton where he worked in food service at Wheaton College. It was there he met some of his closest friends, Cindy, Mike, Erin, Aaron, Christina, Jason, Richie, Sue, Joe and Alex. He was known among his colleagues and friends for his strong work ethic and humor. Charles was very active and loved cycling, using his bike as his main form of transportation for years. He also enjoyed the fun of scratch tickets as well as watching the Patriots and Seahawks during football season. Charles loved to travel, especially to Washington State to spend time with his children and their families.
Survivors include sons, Nolan J. Elias of Shelton, WA and Charles W. Elias, III, of Tacoma, WA; daughter, April M. Sharp of Olympia, WA and stepson David Raynard of Fishers, IN; brother, Mark Elias; sister, Lori Wild; 20 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, the late Scott Elias and the late Kim Elias.
