Elvira T. (Corazzini) Moore of Medford, age 80, passed away on Saturday, January 13th, at Winchester Hospital. Raised and educated in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Palmarino and Michelina (Reppucci) Corazzini. Elvira was a graduate of Somerville High School, class of 1961, and was employed for many years as a secretary. She enjoyed travel with her husband and spending time at their home in Sun City, Florida.
Elvira was the beloved wife of 60 years to Robert Moore, and the devoted mother of Michelle Cerullo and her husband Stephen, Robert L. Moore and his wife Courtnee, and Tina Moore. She was the loving grandmother of Robert L. Moore, Jr. and his wife Denise, Joseph Moore, and Kassandra and Kimberly Bates. Elvira is also survived by four loving great grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Shirley Martis and her husband Donald, and Rita Head and her late husband Martin, and is survived by many nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Elvira’s family on Wednesday, January 17th from 4 through 8 PM, and again on Thursday at 10:30 AM, in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 18th in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
