Sharon Lynn Swale, 57, of New Bedford, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Born in Brockton, MA, daughter of John Wally Swale II and the late Sylvia (Morse) Swale, she lived in Taunton and New Bedford most of her life.
Sharon loved taking care of all the neighborhood kids and her extended family. She enjoyed solving word puzzles, adding to her DVD collection, being a bartender, helping others and playing football squares. Sharon liked writing poems and journaling. Sharon will be remembered as a social butterfly.
Sharon was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School.
Survivors include her children, Zachary Swale and his wife Kelly Ashton formerly of Taunton now of Wilmington, Nick Swale and his wife Hannah of Middleboro, and Courtney Swale and her fiancé Sherry Frakes of New Bedford; her siblings, Susan Owen and her husband Paul of Carver, Robin Laine of Florida, Karen Jones of Hyde Park, John Swale III and his wife Lisa of Taunton, and Darlene Warren and her husband Terry of Illinois; her grandkids Kayden, Crue; and step-grandchildren Jordan and Wyatt.
She is predeceased by her brother-in-law Russ and her niece Cari.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
