Greta Ethel (Turner) Bricker, 88, of Anderson died January 12, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born, June 6, 1935, in Barnhill, Illinois, the daughter of William and Lura (Powless) Turner.
She was a homemaker and also worked at numerous nursing homes as a nurse aide for several years.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Bricker of Anderson whom she married October 1, 1977 in Anderson; her four children, Louanna Shreve of Silver Lake, Rev. Kent (Jill) Modlin of Marlette, Michigan, Herschel Bricker, III of Arizona, Delta Dawn Butcher (companion, Rusty DeHart) of Toccoa, Georgia; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Roy (Patty) Bricker and Eddie (Carolyn) Stohler and Bobby (Doris) Modlin; and sister-in-law, Kay Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Donald E. Modlin; children, Rodney and Rayna; step-daughter, Jeri Joan Schultz; three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral service will be at 12 noon on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Kent Modlin of Marlette First Church officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service an noon at the funeral home.
