Thomas Everett Conroy, 66 years of age, of Norwood, Massachusetts, passed away on January 11, 2024.
Born in Norwood, March 28, 1957, the son of the late John R. Conroy and Emily Arlene (Lanphear) Flanagan. Tommy was known for his kind heart and wonderfully warm character. His personality and loving spirit invited people in. Everyone who met and knew Tommy loved him.
Tommy enjoyed listening to and playing music, video and board games, good conversation and cannabis. He loved reading, along with his joy for discussing history and politics. He was also a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox as well as professional boxing and wrestling.
Tommy was a founding member of the band “The Whooshkabaabs” with his dear friend Mike Grover of Cambridge, Massachusetts and worked as a cashier and trainer at Roche Bros in Westwood, Massachusetts.
Tommy is predeceased by his sisters, Martha E. Brown and Margery E. Finneran; his nephew, Stephen O. Brown Jr; his niece, Kara L. Farrell, and is survived by his brother Stephen O. Brown and sister-in-law Karen M. Brown of Palm Bay, Florida; nephews, Joseph D. Farrell Jr. of Sturbridge, Massachusetts and Edward L. Pflueger IV. of Nassau, New York; nieces, Raymie J. Farrell of Wareham, Massachusetts, Eva M. Pflueger of Ballston Spa, New York, and Catherine M. Brennan of Cohoes, New York, as well as many cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.
A celebration of Tommy’s life will take place in Spring 2024.
