Obituary

Ruth H. (Carlstrom) Valois, 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2006, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She will be deeply missed. Her husband of 39 years, Douglas Valois died in 1992. She leaves two daughters, Diane Bavosi of N. Grafton and Karen Valois of Oxford, and a granddaughter, Lauren B. Bavosi of N. Grafton. Ruth was born and raised in Worcester and lived in Auburn for the past 43 years. She graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School. She was a humble, loving mother, dedicated homemaker, caregiver, and talented seamstress. She was a devoted and generous friend and warmly touched the lives of all she met. She was a secretarial support volunteer at NEADS of Princeton and a life-long member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. A celebration of her life will take place Saturday, July 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 200 Greenwood St., Worcester. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church or NEADS (National Education for Assistance Dog Service, Inc.), P.O. Box 213, West Boylston, MA 01583.
