Jeremy Mark Nelson passed away on January 10th, at Tufts Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. After years of battling cardiac problems, he unfortunately lost the fight.
He was a lifelong Bridgewater resident and was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. He worked on the Grounds Crew at Stonehill College for over 10 years.
Jeremy adored his dog Lizzy and was an avid Boston sports fan. The light of his life was Bella, who he loved beyond measure.
He is survived by his wife Amy (Innocenzi) and daughter, Isabella. He also leaves behind mother Peggy and her husband David Pigeon of Bridgewater, father Mark and wife Gail Nelson of Worcester, siblings Heather and her husband Pasquale Spano of Bridgewater, Marissa Pigeon and her husband Kevin Davis of Stoughton, Tim Pigeon of Arizona and Kelly Donahue of Auburn. Jeremy was part of a huge, blended family. He was the loving uncle to Matthew, Jack, Adian, and Brady. He will be greatly missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend Jeremy's visiting hours Monday Jan 15th, from 3:00-7:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. A funeral service will be held Tuesday January 16th, at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Chapel, followed by a burial ceremony at St. Thomas Aquinas Church Cemetery, Bridgewater.
