Anthony J. Maglio, Jr., of Somerville, passed away on January 7, 2024. He was 66 years old. Anthony was the beloved husband of Marilyn A. (Hardy) Maglio. Born in Malden, he was the cherished son of the late Claire (Ferro) Maglio and Anthony J. Maglio Sr.
Anthony worked as a driver for the Lynn Auto Auction Company. Anthony always cherished being with his family creating and sharing memories to last a lifetime.
Anthony was the father to his late daughter Renee Parilla and stepfather to Phillip Swanson of Boston and Jason McLaughlin of RI. He was the proud “Papa” of Avah Swanson, Miley McLaughlin, Hope Swanson, Peyton Horgan, Jameson Perry and Ashton Perry. Anthony was the dear brother of Rosemarie and Jack Lister of Somerville. Anthony was the loving uncle to Dianna and Jay Bertowice and Renae and Darryl Goodridge and great-uncle to Jaelyn, Jaclyn, Julian, Cassius and Kira. Anthony is also survived by his sister-in-law Kathy Renna and brother-in-law Ralph Renna, both of Peabody and sister-in-law Gail Duggan of Revere.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, January 17, from 4-6:45PM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 6:45PM. Interment will be private.
