Scott E. Sundstrom, 70, of Worcester, died Sunday, January 7th in UMass Memorial Hospital University Campus. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Kathleen M. (Anderson) Sundstrom; his son, Jeremiah Sundstrom; his daughter, Kayanne Sundstrom both of Hillsborough, NH; his brother, Gary Sundstrom of Charlton and his sister, Karin Girard and her husband, Chuck of Cherry Valley; four grandchildren, Natalie, Caleb, Allison, Annabelle and Greyson Sundstrom; his best friend Howard Durnin of Sutton. He was predeceased by his sister, Deborah Williams.
Scott was born in Worcester, the son of Ero and Sonja (Salomaa) Sundstrom. In his younger days, Scott would assist his dad and uncle in the construction of houses. He later worked as a fabricator, building and repairing packaging machinery for the former Packaging Technical Services, and then for Very Fine and Polar Corporations. He then briefly was a co-owner of Custom Conveyer. Scott enjoyed carpentry and home improvement. He also enjoyed visits to Truro on Cape Cod, however his greatest joy was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
