WORCESTER____Joseph V. Miliauskas, 57, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday January 7, 2024 in Life Care Center of Auburn.
Joseph leaves his children, Kaitlin Miliauskas, Kristin Miliauskas and Andrew Miliauskas, five grandchildren, Jordan, Jaeanah and Vivia Melendez and Nova and Jona Jalon, two sisters, Bernadette Harris and Teresa Ilgunas, two nieces, Anne Harris and Rose Adams and cousins in Lithuania. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Juozas and Janina Miliauskas and has lived here all of life. Joseph graduated from North High School and also Worcester Vocational High School.
Mr. Miliauskas worked for a number of years at Furn Craft, Inc with furniture restoration. He also worked for many years at Providence Extended Care Center and Radius Health Care Center, he received an outstanding Performance Award in May 1999. He was a member of the former St. Casimir Parish and was an altar server there for many years. He now attended St. Stephen Church. In his youth he was a member of the Lithuanian Boy Scouts. Joseph enjoyed walking, fishing, watching the Patriots and spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially going to the beach with them.
The funeral will be held on Friday January 12, 2024 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Stephen Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, 600 Liberty Highway, Putnam, Ct., 06260 .
