Nathan Custer Snyder, 95, of Sylvester passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, at Pruitt Health Nursing Home in Sylvester. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Snyder at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. John Hughes will officiate.
Born September 24, 1928, in Fort Monroe, Virginia, Mr. Snyder was the son of the late Keever Robert Snyder and Margaret Hylton Snyder. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Milly Snyder. Before retiring, he owned and operated his own lawn care business; and he was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Snyder is survived by one sister, Adylyn Figley of Ward, Arkansas; several nieces; and his loving care-giver, Anita Andrews.
