Diana M. (Whitehouse) Melaugh, a 24-year resident of Brockton and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly at her home in Brockton on Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was 65 years of age.
Diana was born in Somerville on February 19, 1958, a daughter of the late Roger Whitehouse and Gloria (Morris) Whitehouse. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1975. Diana was a homemaker most of her adult life who dedicated herself to caring of her husband and children in which she took great pride. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, and she enjoyed all the special moments she was able to share with each one of them.
Diana is the beloved wife of 48 years to Herbert L. "Herb" Melaugh. She is the devoted mother of Rachel Williams, Michael Melaugh and his companion Monica Harper and Jason Melaugh and his wife Hollie. She is the loving Nannie to Gloria, Katherine, Rowan and Madilyn. She is the beloved sister of Kathy Whitehouse and the late William Whitehouse, Jeanne Whitehouse-Davis, Marilyn McMaster, Kevin Whitehouse and Patricia Whitehouse. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Diana's Funeral on Saturday morning, January 13, 2024, at 11 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 12 Noon. Her burial will be private. Her visiting hours will be on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 4 to 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
