ALEXANDRIA ---- Judith A. (Kenney) Bucklin, 84, died Friday, January 5, 2024 at Portsmouth Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was the daughter of Richard C. and Ruth (Connor) Kenney, Sr. Growing up in Bristol, she attended local schools and graduated from Bristol High School in 1957. For a number of years, Judy worked as a payroll clerk for IPC.
Judy enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing cards, camping, and watching NASCAR. She was happiest when she was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Everett Bucklin of Meredith; sons: Mark (Linda) Bucklin of Alexandria; Peter (Susan) Bucklin of Danbury; Scott (Kim) Bucklin of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Melissa (Harlie) Putnam of Groton; grandchildren: Emily Elliott, Kimberly Bliss, Sara Dorand, Mathew Bucklin, Trevor Bucklin, Amy Poitras, Allison Putnam; step-grandchildren: David LeBlanc and Danny LeBlanc; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Marianne Bucklin; brother Richard Kenney Jr., and sister Nancy Moulton.
There will be no Calling Hours.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 17, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Homeland Cemetery in Bristol.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society New England, 101A First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.
