Ferry Jackson (69) of Canton, MA passed away on January 2nd at Good Samaritan Medical Center In Brockton, MA.
He was born in Macon, Georgia son of the late Johnny B. Jackson and Cora Lee Jackson. Ferry was a passionate bus driver for over 30 years, and impacted the lives of many youth throughout the city of Boston. Outside of being the best bus driver in the WORLD, Ferry enjoyed fishing, gardening, singing, dancing, and sitting back relaxing drinking a beck’s with family and friends.
He is survived by Sharon Jackson, his wife of over 45 years, 2 sons, Adkeem Jackson of Boston, Diarra Jackson of Georgia, 1 stepson, Lamar D. Williams of Boston, 2 daughters, Divinia Sampson and Quivonda Huston (Ken) both of Georgia, 5 brothers, Johnny B. Jackson, Isom C. Jackson, Edward L. Jackson (Wanda), George Jackson all of Georgia, and his twin brother Derry Jackson of Lynn, 2 sisters, Mildred L. Terrell of Tennessee and Cora L. Stephens of Weymouth, 7 grandchildren, Tahjeona Williams, Aubrey Jackson, Tra’von Simmons, Kiarra Jackson, Zion Jackson, Nah'Ja Beard and Shel'Vonta Beard, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Services in the Appointed City Church, 145 Bowdell Street Avon at 11 am. Burial to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 1105 Central Street Stoughton. Viewing from 10 am prior to services.
