William L. Judge
Co-founder of Batter Up Sportscards
TEWKSBURY: William L. “Bill” Judge, age 58, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Thursday, January 4, 2024, after a sudden heart attack.
He was the beloved husband of Alanna J.P. (Prouty) Judge with whom he celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on July 31, 2023, and devoted father of Wylie J. Judge, of Tewksbury and stepfather of Natalie B. Veloz, of Hampden, ME, and Leah G. Veloz, of Tewksbury.
Born in Lowell on November 18, 1965, he was the son of the late Austin J. Judge and the late Nancy E. (Prenney) Judge.
Bill graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1983 and attended the University of Lowell (U.Mass-Lowell).
In 1991, he and his brother Jim founded and operated Batter Up Sportscards of Tewksbury.
Bill loved spending time with his son attending numerous sporting events, vacationing with his family in the White Mountains and the beaches of New Hampshire, Maine, and Miami.
Besides his wife and children, he is survived by his brother, James R. Judge and his wife Carolyn (Arsenault), of Tewksbury and his two nephews, Joshua and Daniel Judge, of Tewksbury.
All are invited to attend his calling hours on Monday, January 15th, from 5-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. At the request of the family, funeral services will be private.
