On December 26th 2023, E. Scott Wheeler passed away peacefully in his home holding the hands of his beloved wife, Donna, after an 8 month fight against cancer.
Scott was at the young age of 65. Born to parents Edward Wheeler and Patricia Dupont on September 18th, 1958, Scott grew up in Massachusetts. He grew up with not only brothers Michael Wheeler, Thomas Croft, Eben Wheeler, sister Susan Croft, but also step siblings Mark Wheeler and Lois Costa as well as step parents Shirley Wheeler, Albert Croft, Loretta Croft, and bonus brother Michael Roy.
Scott met Donna (Sullivan) in a plaza parking lot when he was only 17 years old (and she 16) and they soon became inseparable. They were married in 1980 and went on to have three children, Christopher, Kevin, and Nicole. They bought a home in Nashua NH and owned several restaurants in Milford, Francestown, and Antrim NH. They had a deep love for their restaurant family. Scott also owned his own electrical business from 1985 until his passing, with a few stints in between working for other electrical companies. Both of his sons followed his footsteps into the electrical field working alongside their father while his daughter went into the medical field.
After selling their restaurants when their last child went off to college, Scott and Donna moved back home to the Cape where they spent half of their time home with family and friends, and half of their time in Sunny Fort Meyers Florida. Scott was an avid beach lover. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching Nascar, camping, classic rock music, old western shows, and buying and selling land and real estate.
Scott leaves behind his wife of 43 years Donna Wheeler; son Christopher Wheeler (fiance Jennifer McDonough), grandchildren Isabelle, Ali, and Trent; son Kevin Wheeler (wife Christina Wheeler) and grandchildren James, Mackenzie, and Nathan; and daughter Nicole Lessard (husband Eric Lessard), and grandchildren Harper and Haley.
A celebration of life is to be scheduled at a later date during his favorite warmer season.
