GILFORD ---- Richard Edward Gablaski, 74, of Red Oak Drive, died on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Concord Hospital – Concord.
Richard was born on December 25, 1949, in Worcester, MA, the son of the late Edward Gablaski and Joan (Malhoit) Gablaski.
Richard worked as a math and science teacher at the Trottier Middle School in Southborough, MA for many years. His passion was teaching children at school. He loved gardening, planting fruit trees and landscaping. Richard also enjoyed sports, playing tennis, and watching any sport on TV. He was also an avid fisherman.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary (Ayotte) Gablaski; daughters Katherine Auger, Stephanie Gablaski, Courtney Gablaski and Cynthia Diorio; grandchildren Deven Auger, Isabella Diorio, Maria Diorio, Stanley Monteiro, and the twins Chase Monteiro and Elizabeth Monteiro, and his beloved pets, Scout and Buddy.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 10:00am-10:30am at St. Andre Bessette Parish – Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia, NH.
