CURRAN, James J. “Jim” of Roslindale, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2024 after a long illness.
He was the son of the late Ellen and James of West Roxbury. Husband of Diane Curran of Roslindale. Loving father of Julie Curran of Brighton, James Curran and Lauren Curran of Roslindale. Loving "Papa" of Kiara, Edwin and Alexander Rodriguez. He's also survived by 3 brothers, a sister, and many nieces and nephews.
Before his health declined in recent years he enjoyed cooking, grilling, vacationing in Rockport, fishing and relaxing on his boat. Jim devoted over 30 years to the City of Boston, worked his way up and retired as a supervisor of parking enforcement in 2021. He loved his children, grandchildren and loyal chocolate labrador, Rose.
His family takes comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering in poor health and is reunited with his parents, and best friend of close to 60 years, John "Jack" Lynch.
