Maria Antonieta De Pina (88) of Brockton died January 4th at home under hospice care surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Alberto De Pina Cardoso.
She was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Casimiro Lobo De Pina and Balbina Resende. Maria was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church.
Maria is survived by 3 sons, Jose Pina Cardoso, Paulino Cardoso and Adelino Pina Cardoso all of Brockton, 2 daughters, Maria Antonia Cardoso and Amelia De Pina both of Brockton, (mother of the late Casimiro Pina Cardoso), 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Monday January 8th from 5-8 pm.
Services in the Funeral Home Tuesday January 9th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 E Main Street Brockton at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
