Norman M. Peckham, 93, of Little Compton, RI, passed away January 2, 2024 at home, with family by his side. He was the husband of Susan W. Peckham.
Norman was the son of the late Raymond M. and Clara J. (Ballinger) Peckham, and a lifelong resident of Little Compton being raised on the family farm and greenhouse business. Norman graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1953. He enjoyed flying his WWII Tiger Moth, traveling to 35 countries, crossword puzzles and reading.
Norman is also survived by his 2 daughters, Linda, and her husband Richard Costa of Fairhaven, Sandi and her husband Charles Croteau, of Tiverton, a son, David Peckham and his wife Linda of Little Compton and brother Gordon Peckham of VT, along with 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Elinor Gavin and Albert Peckham.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M.
Interment to follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton.
