Deborah Jean “Debi” (Pressey) Viggiano, 72, of Hamilton Ma., passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones on December 18,2023, after a courageous 8-month battle with cancer.
Born in Exeter, NH on June 3, 1951, to the late Rev., John, and Marjorie (Nickerson) Pressey. She was the beloved wife of Michael Andrew Viggiano, married November 18, 1972. Debi was a graduate of Addison Gilbert Hospital Nursing School as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She worked in a variety of healthcare settings to include Children's Hospital in Salem, MA, along with a variety of private and extended care facilities. She enjoyed crafting, reading, shopping, knitting, coffee and computers. Her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with family, friends, children, and grandchildren and always with an open-door policy!
Debi is survived by her husband Michael Viggiano, daughter Diana Varney and her husband William of Danville, NH, son Michael Viggiano of Manchester by the Sea, MA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Emma Lacey, Kylee Caswell, Courtney Caswell, Ali Viggiano and Thomas Caswell. Her siblings, Carilee Gerniglia, late husband Joseph, late brother Doane Pressey and wife Muriel, Laurie Shea and husband Downey, Rachel Kilgour and husband John, Jaye Viggiano and husband John, faithful in-laws Christopher and Nancy Viggiano, and Donna Keeney. She is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews.
A ”Celebration of Debi’s Life” will be held on January 20, 2024 at 12PM at the Linebrook Church, on 391 Linebrook Rd. Ipswich.
A reception will follow at 1640 Hart House 51 Linebrook Rd, Ipswich, Ma.
