Obituary

Molyka Khan ‘Molly’ Chap, 40 of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, December 29, 2023 after a brief illness. She was born in Portland, Oregon on April 20, 1983 and was a daughter of Chap Chheng, and the late Khan Chheng who passed away in 2021.

She worked as a caretaker in the medical field for many years, and more recently worked as a Phlebotomist over the past year.

In addition to her father, Chap Chheng of Cambodia, she is survived by her daughters, Maliyah Chap-Phal, and Khamyah Phal, both of Lowell; and her siblings, Davan Chap and his wife, Savannah Lor of Tampa, Florida, Ra Chheng of Lowell, Johnny Chheng and his wife, Julie Silva of Lowell, and Tony Chap of Lowell.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including, Kyrone Lor, Leilani Chap, Lily Chap, Jayden Chheng, Jamelia Chheng, Khanari Chheng, Jaylena Phachansiri-Ngo, and Destiny Vangpa; her Godson, Rayvin Chea; her bestfriends, Linda Chea, and Linda Ngo; amongst many other family and friends.

On Monday morning, Her funeral ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. at Merrimack Cremation Service, 10 Henry Clary Drive, Merrimack, NH.
