Anna M. Calabro, 91, of Smithfield passed away on January 1, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Rose (Allessandro) Calabro
Anna was employed at Trifari Inc. for 35 years before retiring. She was a member of the Johnston Senior Center and the Kelley Gazzerro Center where she served as vice president.
Anna was awarded Citations from the RI Senate and the House of Representatives in recognition of her dedicated service to the Senior Citizens of Hope Center.
Anna is survived by her brother, Robert C. Calabro and his wife, Geraldine; her sister-in-law Dalia Calabro, niece Marisa DiChiara and nephew William Calabro. She was the sister of the late William A. Calabro, Carmella M. Calabro and Rosalie L. Dallorso.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be celebrated on Thursday January 4th at 10:00 am in St. Michaels’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Visitation respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
