Cassandra Dawn Emery, 31, sadly passed away peacefully on December 30th, 2023, in Providence Rhode Island.
Cassie was born on December 24th, 1992, in Quincy, MA. She always hated being born the day before Christmas and never hesitated to let you know it.
Cassie graduated from Whitman-Hanson High School in 2011. She went on to receive her associates degree from Massasoit.
Cassie will forever be remembered by everyone who met her. Her laugh filled the room, and her enthusiasm was felt by all. A daughter, sister, auntie, and friend. Cassie loved a good book and a good drink. She recently found a passion for crocheting and you could always find her with a ball of yarn. Those who knew Cassie would give a few words to describe her including beautiful, fun, loving, loud, crazy, and maybe even slightly obnoxious. Cassie would always give it to you as it was.
Cassie leaves behind her mother Lisa Emery (Foster) and stepfather Neil Falco of Whitman; Her father Chris Emery of Brockton; Her older sister Michelle Gardner (Emery) and brother-in-law Barry Gardner, of Bradenton Florida; Her younger sister Alexis Lauzon (Emery) and brother-in-law Matthew Lauzon of Plymouth. She was a very proud “Auntie CiCi” to Abby, Marcos, Vance, and Barry Jr. Cassie also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She lastly leaves behind her beloved cat Nova.
Family and friends are invited to attend Cassie’s visiting hours on Saturday January 6th, from 4:00-7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Medfield Animal Shelter in Cassie’s honor.
