Ann Wilson, 71, passed away on December 23, 2023, at Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA. She was born in Springfield, MA, the daughter of William and Marie (Driscoll) Wilson. Ann graduated from Chicopee Comp in 1970. She pursued her BA
at the Elms College and then went on to receive her Masters and CAGS from Springfield College in Rehabilitation Counseling.
Ann moved to California in 1976, and settled in the East Bay area. She worked for Crawford Risk Management and then opened her own business, “Ann Wilson & Associate”. Eventually, she became an expert witness, testifying on “Life Care Plans” for disabled clients. She is survived by her former husband and current partner of 15 years, Peter Rivest, her sister ,Monica Harnois and her husband, Bruce of Chicopee, her nephew, Todd Harnois and his wife Maura of Ellington, and their children Jack, Shea and Kelsey. Ann will be remembered as a kind, generous and fun-loving person who loved being with family and friends. She was a dog lover, specially Golden Retrievers and she loved to travel. Ann will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A committal service at St Patrick’s Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
