Fernande Rose Goulet, 85, of Derry, NH, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at her residence surrounded by loved ones. She was born on March 3, 1938 in St. Rose, Canada, a daughter of the late Adelard Beaulieu and Olivine (Bergeron) Beaulieu. She had been a resident of Derry for the past 33 years, formerly living in Lawrence, MA.
Fernande is survived by four daughters, Marie Teresa Pratt and her husband Michael, Jacqueline Goulet, Marie Brand and her husband Kenneth, Joanne Bobola and her husband Richard; four sons, Jacques Goulet and his wife Carol, Fernand Goulet and his wife Carol, Paul Goulet and his wife Rita, and Steve Goulet and his wife Karen; 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and her little dog Bijou. Fernande was predeceased by her loving husband in 2006, Paul Goulet; and two grandsons, Luke Pratt and Christopher Goulet.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 8th from 6:00 - 8:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you plant a tree in Fernande’s name. A very special thank you to the folks at Brookhaven Hospice and their amazing nurses Karen and Faith.
