Patricia (Fryar) McLean, of Tewksbury, passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 78.
Raised and educated in Newton, MA., she married Phillip McLean and moved to Florida, where they raised their two sons.
“Patsy” was retired from the Miami Dade County Schools. She enjoyed having more time to spend with family and friends. She was an avid sports fan and loved to talk about the New England Patriots with anyone.
Patsy moved back to Massachusetts in 2020, where she settled in Tewksbury to be near her family.
She was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Boxford. She loved the women’s ministry and learning about the Old and New Testament. It was her love for Christ that brought her great peace.
She leaves behind her son James: a daughter-in-law, Sherry: her grandchildren, Nikki, AJ, and Cody Ray: great-grandchildren: Serenity, Aurora, Sofia, and Cohen: her brothers, Arthur, Richard, Paul, and Allen Fryar: her sisters, Diane and Barbara: her sisters-in-law, Lorianne, Donna, and Debbie Fryar: her brother-in-law, Michael Ciulla: many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom brought her great joy.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Phillip, her son, Phillip (Jay), and her brothers, Dennis, and Norman Fryar.
There will be a Celebration of her Life on February 17, 2024, at the First Congregational Church in Boxford, MA
