Rose Arakelian, born on the 16th of June, 1930 was a genuine woman of her time and so much more. Before marrying her late husband Arthur (Libby) and starting a family, Rose was a statistician. Later when she became a homemaker, Rose still made time to go out with friends, engage in leisure sports, and live a remarkable, wonderful life. Over the years she and Libby would travel on vacations to San Francisco, Wine Country, and their favorite spot in Aruba, and would make lots of friends and unforgettable memories along the way. Rose was an avid golfer and bowler, and enjoyed her time as a member of Oakley Country Club with her friends and team. Additionally, Rose enjoyed getting her hair and nails done frequently with her daughter and granddaughter. What she loved most in life however, was her family. Rose dearly adored her children, Cathy, John and David, as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything. Throughout her life, Rose taught her family how to love and support one another, how to be resilient yet elegant, and how to live life to the fullest. Though she will be missed greatly, her memories and lessons will be cherished and carried on forever.
