New Bedford – Irene A. (Ferreira) Vincent, 61, of Westport died Monday, July 3, 2006 at Southeastern Massachusetts Health and Rehabilitation after a short illness. She was the close companion of Joaquim “Jack” Simoes.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Daniel A. Ferreira, Sr. and the late Irene A. (Cambra) Ferreira, she had resided in Westport for most of her life.
Including her companion, she is survived by 3 daughters: Lorraine Wood of Kansas City, KS, Brenda Honneyman of Fall River and Jennifer Sylvia of Fall River; a brother: Edward Ferreira of FL; 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Daniel A. Ferreira, Jr., David A. Ferreira and Irene A. Ferreira.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, July 7, 2006 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Thursday 5 – 8 P.M.
Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
