Barbara (Hearn) Simonich, age 78, passed away on Dec. 21, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 11, 1945 in Rahway, NJ, daughter of the late Clifford and Eleanor (Feith) Hearn. Barbara worked as a supervisor for the bulk mail center in Springfield for over 30 years before she retired. She was a lifelong dog and animal lover. She is survived by her loving husband Richard Simonich of Chicopee; two sons, Justin Simonich and his wife Emma of Maplewood, NJ and Jeremy Simonich of Chicopee; two grandchildren Nathan and Neve along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Friday, January 5, 2024 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by an in house prayer service at 1:00. Burial will take place in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
