Cheryl A. Campbell, age 65, of Medford passed away on Saturday, December 23rd, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Coles) Campbell Sr. Cheryl proudly served in the Army and was later employed as a secretary for the Town of Pepperell.
Cheryl will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. She was an avid reader of books, especially Harlequin romance novels. She is known for sharing her books and love of reading with many friends and family. Cheryl always approached life with child-like wonder; she was able to see joy in the simplest pleasures that life brought. She loved to collect elephants which she lovingly called “Ellies,” and also loved her cats and showered them with endless love and affection.
Cheryl was the beloved wife of the late Jack Bouchard, and the devoted step-mother of Shari Ross McDonald and Stephen Ross. She was the dear sister of Wilma Bledsoe and her husband Robert, Elizabeth Dube, Christopher Campbell, and the late William Campbell Jr. and his surviving wife Patricia. She was the loving aunt of William Campbell III, Robert Bledsoe, Joey Bledsoe, Lisa Bratton, Linda DiMeo, Lillian Dube, and the late Krystle Campbell. She is also survived by her loving companion John Hillis, grandchildren, and many great-nieces, great- nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 9 through 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Cambridge Cemetery.
