Eva Anne Ruse Lohsen, 92, of Tifton passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Lohsen at a later date at Tift Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest.
Born March 4, 1931, in Hackensack, New Jersey, Mrs. Lohsen was the daughter of the late John Ruse and Anne Mothes Ruse. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Charles Lohsen, who passed away on January 12, 2021; and one brother, “Jack” John Ruse. Before retiring, she was a secretary for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.
Mrs. Lohsen is survived by one son, Dave Lohsen of Tifton; one daughter, Diane McNamara of Smithfield, Virginia; five grandchildren, Alicia Armellino Bowman, Matthew Armellino, Angela Armellino Thompson, Allison Lohsen and Jennifer Lohsen; and four great-grandchildren, Ava Rayanne Armellino, Izabel Hodges, Ryder Thompson and Benjamin Bowman.
