Judith Ann Duclos, age 85, passed away on Dec 23, 2023 at Loomis Lakeside She was born in Springfield on May 13, 1938 to the late Frederick and Kathleen (Doran) Minie. Judith was a graduate of Chicopee High Class of 1955. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and also a clerk in Holyoke and Chicopee Public schools. Judith was an active member of St. Mary’s Women’s Guild in Chicopee. Judith leaves four sons, Jeremy Duclos of West Springfield, Thomas Duclos and Anne Taupier of Suffield, CT, Keith Duclos and his wife Barbara of Calabash, NC and Kevin Duclos of Calabash, NC and one daughter, Amy Drohan of South Hadley. In addition, she leaves six grandchildren, Jodi Hoover, Jeffrey Duclos, Timothy Duclos, Dan Drohan, Billy Drohan and Caiden Drohan and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Francis R. Duclos; one brother, Albert Minie; four sisters, Mary (Minie) Abramowicz, Susan (Minie) Falzone, Dorothy (Minie) Saroce and Kathleen (Minie) Barison and a daughter in law, Christine (Tisdall) Duclos. A Funeral Service will be held on Wed, Jan 3, 2023 at 9 am at Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Mass of Christian Liturgy at 10 am at St Stanislaus Basilica. Burial will follow at St Stanislaus Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be held on Tues, Jan 2, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
