Charles H. “Charlie” Kruczek, 66, of Paxton, passed away on Wednesday, December 27th at UMass Memorial Hospital – University Campus. He leaves his loving wife of 20 years, Paula (Crawford) Kruczek; three daughters, Sara Darlagiannis and her husband, Athanasios of Webster, Tina Kruczek of Sturbridge, and Katie Sturkowski of Worcester; a brother Ronald R. Kruczek of Brookfield; a sister Kathleen Soucie and her husband, Kevin of East Brookfield; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth A. Moreau.
He was born in Worcester the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Jackman) Kruczek. Charlie was the HVAC facility maintenance supervisor at Simon Property Group, Auburn Mall, Greendale Mall, and Solomon Pond Mall. He loved playing golf and enjoyed gardening around his home. What was most special to Charlie was spending time with his grandchildren; Ava, Grace, Ryan, Emma, Jake, and Lilly. Charlie and Paula enjoyed going to the casino together, especially Foxwoods or Atlantic City. You could always count on him, he was the one who would help anybody, anytime, anyplace. He also enjoyed sharing quiet early mornings with his wife and family over a cup of coffee. “Charlie lived life”.
His calling hours will be held on Friday, January 5th from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
