LACONIA ---- Dennis Brian Monahan, 72, of Fairview Street, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Dennis was born on October 6, 1951, in Laconia, the son of Wilfred and Viola (Blais) Monahan.
He enjoyed eating good food and listening to classical music. Dennis liked to hear conversations and listening to people talk. He would spend his free time watching tv, particularly documentaries, Jeopardy and the history channel to learn new things, and he liked to partake in Catholic ceremonies and prayers.
Dennis is survived by his sister Judith Ellis and nephews Marc Ellis and Eric Ellis. He is predeceased by his parents and infant sister Jane Ellen.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 10:00am, at St. Andre Bessett Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH 03246.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia, NH.
