GONZALEZ Aida “Nana” (Baez) Longtime resident of Boca Canasta Bani, DR., more recently of Jamaica Plain, passed away on December 27, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Luis “Mayor” Gonzalez. Devoted mother of Arelys Cortina, Ydalmis Gonzalez, Amaury “Morena” Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, Marcial Gonzalez, and the late Milagros “Yayo” Gonzalez and Alfredo Gonzalez . She was the eldest of 14 siblings. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Aida was big on family. She was the glue that held the family together. She was a mother to everyone as she was the oldest of all the siblings by many years. Nana always helped anyone in need without question.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd from 4-7pm, and again on Wednesday, January 3rd starting at 10am, before proceeding to Mt. Hope Cemetery for the burial. For online guestbook pemurrayfuneral.com.
