WESTPORT… Melissa Ann (Rosenshein) Cleaves, age 45, was called home to Heaven on the morning of Wednesday, December 20, 2023 after a long illness.
Born in Alexandria, VA, Melissa was the daughter of Laurie Penniman Anastas and her husband Michael Anastas of Marlboro, MA.
She was the beloved wife of Jason Cleaves Sr. of Westport, MA.
Melissa loved to cook. She was a proud baseball mom, loving nothing more than spending time with her family. She also loved traveling for baseball tournaments and family vacations.
In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include: sons, Jason Jr., Justin, and Jaxon, all of Westport, MA; daughters, Jocelyn of Davenport, FL, and Inysia of North Dartmouth, MA; sister, Kristina Rosenshein of Marlboro, MA.
A memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Greater Fall River Baptist Church, 1980 South Main Street, Fall River, MA.
