Paul E. Arnoe, 85, of Westport, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Catholic Memorial Home, He was the husband of Carmelita (Manning) Arnoe.
Born in Fall River, son of the late Frank and Olida (Longchamps) Arnoe, he had lived in Westport for over 20 years. He served his country in the United States Army National Guard. Prior to retirement, he was a chemical engineer for Polaroid Corporation. He was a Communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport. Mr. Arnoe was a member of the Fall River Elks Club, Bakers Beach in Westport and the Westport Yacht Club. He enjoyed working in his yard and attending URI football games with his friends.
Including his wife, he is survived by his daughter: Olida Arnoe and her husband Rory Putnam of Windham, ME; a brother: Frank Arnoe of Berkley; and several nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late George Arnoe and Grace Desmarais.
Services will be private.
