Angelike Lampos passed away on December 24, 2023 at Brookdale Senior Living in Tiverton Rhode Island. Angie was born in New Bedford, Mass on May 20, 1929 to John and Aglaia (Chagaruly) Lampos. The fourth in line of the five Lampos sisters, Angie was at the center of the home as a right hand to her mother. At an early age she developed a passion for cooking and took over most of the family cooking. Her award winning "Angie oven roast potatoes" were a staple at every family function. We owe her a big thank you for preserving and sharing all of the family recipes that were never written down. When Angie graduated from New Bedford High School she followed her sisters to the Aerovox Corporation with a career there spanning over 40 years. An avid church goer Angie sang in the Church Choir at St George's Greek Orthodox Church. She also belonged to the Philoptochos Society and enjoyed spending time cooking for their fundraising activities. Family was most important to her and she spent many years lovingly helping to care for her sister Martha. Throughout the lives of her nieces, nephews, and great nieces Angie was there for many a ballet recital, baseball game, graduation and birthday. Angie enjoyed holiday visits from godson Greg- her pride and joy. Angie loved to travel when she was able and not watching or listening to the Red Sox. She was the last survivor of the Lampos family, her sisters Joan, Martha, Katherine and Clover passing before her. She leaves behind 5 nieces and nephews, 8 great-nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great-nephews and will be missed by each and every one of them. Please join the family for visitation at St George's Greek Orthodox Church in Darmouth on Wednesday, December 27th from 9-10 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 10 AM in church. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family would also like to thank the nursing staff at Brookdale for the amazing care that our aunt received.
