Worcester – Brian E. Richard, 63, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2023 in the Chicopee Rehabilitation Center.
Brian was born in Worcester, son of the late Edgar J. and Cleola M. (Green) Richard. He graduated from Holy Name Central Catholic High School and worked for many years in the information technology field, most recently as a customer service technician diagnosing and resolving software issues.
Mr. Richard is married to Karen (Kennedy) Richard. He is also survived by two children, Conor A. Richard and his wife, Karena of New Bedford, MA and Molly K. Goff and her husband, Oscar of Somerville, MA; a sister, Nancy Jacques and her husband, Robert of Springfield and many nieces and nephews.
Brian enjoyed spending time outside, as a young man he attained the rank of Eagle Scouts through Troop 28 at Saint Peter’s Church in Worcester. He loved cycling and was proud of the fact that he completed the Pan-Mass Challenge.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29 at 12 Noon in Notre Dame Mausoleum 162 Webster Street Worcester.
