Lois K. Sullivan, 82

Lois K. (Bradfield) Sullivan, age 82, a resident of the Village at Willow Crossings in Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the embracing love of her family on Monday, December 25, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Frederick R. Sullivan, to whom she was wed on December 17, 1965.
Born in Newport, Rhode Island on November 25, 1941, she was a loving daughter of the late Raymond and Edithe (Gray) Bradfield.
Lois grew up in Newport and was a 1959 graduate of Saint Catherine’s Academy in Newport. She had made her home in Mansfield for the past 1 ½ years and formerly resided in Tiverton, RI, Naples, FL, Fall River and Holbrook.
A dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, Lois had also worked at the former Irish Cottage at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree. Since living in Mansfield, she was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield.
Lois’s greatest gift in life, which she treasured dearly, was her loving family and she especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren with ice cream for breakfast. An avid reader, Lois was a member of the Friends at the Holbrook Public Library, enjoyed bicycling with her women’s bike group, cooking for Rosie’s Place in Boston and will always be remembered for her remarkable cooking and baking skills, her love of gardening and the special place in her heart for animals.
In addition to her husband of fifty-eight years, she is survived by her devoted children: Michol Mary Levine and her husband Bruce of Mansfield, Jennifer Ann Call and her husband Kenneth of Mansfield and the late Frederick Bradfield Sullivan, who is survived by his wife Amanda Livengood of Brookline. She was the cherished grandmother of Brynne, Nicholas, McKenzie, Benjamin, McKayla, Cooper, Cassidy, Rory and Eleanor. She is also survived by her beloved dog “Roxie”, as well as her loving nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Saturday, December 30th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Mass on Saturday morning from 9:00-10:30 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
In lieu of flowers, Lois’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Mansfield Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 25, Mansfield, MA 02048.
