Obituary

WORCESTER____Kenneth J “Ken” “PaPa” Boudreau of Worcester passed away peacefully after a brief illness on December 19, 2023.

Kenneth was a Lieutenant and Correctional Officer for the Worcester County Sheriffs Department and worked there for more than 20 years before retiring. He also served in the Army National Guard in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

He was born in Worcester a son of the late Albert J and Lucille (Boynton) Boudreau, grew up on Grafton Hill where he lived all of his life and graduated from North High School in 1970.

Kenneth coached many levels of baseball from minor league and little league at Jack Barry to Senior Babe Ruth and before ending his coaching career, softball for Worcester County Babe Ruth Softball and the varsity softball team at South High School.

Kenneth loved spending time with his family and loved watching his grandsons play baseball and basketball. He also loved taking trips to Maine and especially to Old Orchard Beach. Kenneth will be sadly missed.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cynthia A. (Spirauskas) Boudreau, his son, Michael K. Boudreau of Worcester his daughter, Laura K. (Boudreau) Fenner, her husband Scott M. Fenner, and two grandsons, Brayden K. and Cameron S. Fenner, all of Worcester.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son, Kevin S. Boudreau in 2001 and his brother Paul B. Boudreau in 2003.

The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 with a service at 1200 PM in DIRSA – MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday December 26, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. in the funeral home before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
