Charlotte Barbara Hart, 82, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Harris Johnson officiating. The internment will follow in the Evergreen cemetery in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from, 6PM to 8PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Hart was born July 15, 1941, in Ben Hill County Georgia, to the late Charles and Margaret Cherry Young. She loved the Atlanta Braves, as well as fishing and cooking. She also loved watching her humming birds, and working in her flowers. Mrs. Hart also enjoyed solar lights and had a number of them. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family which she loved dearly. Mrs. Hart was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Allen Hart of Fitzgerald; two children: Robert Allen Hart, Jr. & Connie of Fitzgerald, Debbie Sutton & Roger of Tifton; six grandchildren: Amanda Williams, Wesley Hart & Ginger, Megan Blanchard & Chris, Roger Sutton Jr., Mandy Sutton, Ryan Barton, Kody James and Jeremy Rich; 11 great grandchildren: Joel, Krysta, Kara, Reed, Rhett, Ray Ray, Leigha, Caden, Sophie, Amya, and Amelia; two great grandchildren; siblings: Shirley “Sister” Lattimore Mills & Eddie of South Carolina, J.W. Young & Gail of Fitzgerald, Connie Sue Faciane & Rick of Floridia, Jan Krucina & Ken of South Carolina, and Tommy Young & Nancy of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Herman Young, Therman Young, Donny Young, and Earl Young.
