WARE____William R. Fricke, 92, of Ware, passed away recently in Harrigton Memorial Hospital, Southbridge.
His survivors include a son, William R. Fricke, Jr., of Ware. He was born in Holyoke, a son of the late Max and Katherine (Sweeney) Fricke.
Mr. Fricke was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and retired many years ago. He was a Korean War veteran having first served in the U.S. Navy as a Navy Airman and then later served in the U.S. Air Force as an Airman.
Mr. Fricke was buried with Military Honors on December 21, 2023 in the Massachusetts Memorial Veterans’ Cemetery, Agawam. DIRSA – MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester had care of the service arrangements.
