BIDDEFORD- Ronda J. Gregoire, cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, peacefully departed from this world on December 20th, 2023, succumbing to a progressive disease linked to addiction as a victim of the opioid pandemic. Ronda was born on August 4th, 1959, in Bangor, ME, to Robert Sterling Dorr and Joan Kay Haslam. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Wanda Dorr.
Ronda is survived by her devoted daughters, Kathlyn Thompson (James) and Kristalyn Talmer; caring brothers, Robert Dorr (Doris), Thomas Dorr (Kelly), Scott Dorr; and loving sister, Terri Scott. She leaves behind a legacy through her grandchildren Brittney Head, Brooke Churchill, Austin Thompson, Nathan Thompson, Katelyn Talmer, Kallie Petit, and Kelsey Petit, along with three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family held the utmost importance in Ronda's heart, and she maintained a watchful eye over all those she loved. Alongside her twin sister Wanda, Ronda spent many years working together, cleaning homes, and devoted the rest of her time as a homemaker. Her commitment to St. Andre's Parish in Biddeford was unwavering. Even during her darkest moments, Ronda could be found on the steps of the church, finding solace in the teachings of God.
Beyond her faith and familial love, Ronda was recognized for her profound affection for her three Shih Tzu’s: Scotty, Sophy, and Skippy, who illuminated her world, always close by. Ronda attended Portland Public Schools, and remained well-informed about current family matters. She will always be remembered for putting her friends and family first and always had her door open for those in need.
The funeral service in remembrance of Ronda J. Gregoire will be held at Chad E Poitras Cremation & Funeral Service in Buxton, Maine, on Thursday , December 28th, at 1:00 pm
